There are 4 names such as Pujara, Sarfaraz Khan, Rajat Patidar and Rinku Singh
In my POV, 4 candidates are there as a replacement for Kohli for the first 2 test matches.
1- Cheteshwar Pujara –
Given his past record and recent performance in #RanjiTrophy. It also helps Gill to play at no 4. We all expect him to succeed post Kohli era.
2 – Sarfaraz Khan –

A genuine No 4 for India, and a proven domestic player. Someone, who is waiting for his opportunity for the last few years
3 – Rajat Patidar –

As per his last performance against Eng Lions, he did amazingly. As well, he received good remarks from former cricketers on his batting techniques.
4 – Rinku Singh (Wild Card) –

He has been in amazing form in the past year in the IPL and the international arena and has a proven domestic record. Can be handy on rank turners too & has experience playing with tail-enders for UP and A teams (wherever and whenever he played).
It all depends on the think tank mindset! If they think that it’s just a 2 match story, they may go ahead diff. however, if they want to look into the future. Sarfaraz/Rinku must be looked into this time.
